You see, I'm actually a Nubian princess ripped from her life of enormous wealth and sloth leisure and made to toil unendingly...what? that was a dream? I'm not a princess?

Why Mizz Roxy, shut the hell up and act like you've got a job.

*pets you* I understand, I really do. To the "normal" world, our retail jobs are nothing, but to us? Hell. I worked 8 days straight a little while back, and it wasn't easy, but hey--we do what we have to do, right?

So I take my ONE day off after that, come back and have one of the part-timers (one who is ALWAYS screaming that she doesn't have enough hours) approach me to tell me she's given one of her shifts to a co-worker because I scheduled her five days in a row, and that's just too much.

Are you laughing yet? I did. I couldn't help it, I laughed. In her face, even. When she told me I was being mean, I told her that I had just worked eight days in a row so she could just shut the hell up. And you know what? SHE DID! hahahahahhahaa!!!!

Ack! Schedule? That's a thankless job from hell--no one is ever satisfied with what they have--it's either too many hours or not enough. I know--I'm always bitching to my exec about my hours. It's a hobby! *grin*
