" Dang!" shouted Lex Luthor,director of "Gotta Tap Like Crazy" the hottest musical on the Great White Way." How the heck did that floozy Arlene manage to break an ankle? Forget it! Don't tell me! Now who's going to do the big number, Stan..Stan!" Luthor pushed his fedora back on his head and glared at Stan who was crushing his hat in his hands.
" Well, what about one of the kids in the chorus?"Stan chimed in nervously.
" Say! Wattaya, some kind of chump?' He rolled the cigar from one side of his strangely alluring mouth to the other." Why, none of those hoofers have got the moxie that Arlene had, not to mention the looks...saaaay, getta load of the kid in the back there.."
Stan leaned over and looked.
"Wowsa! Get a load of the puss on that one!"
" Yeah! Now if they can dance too..." Luthor ran up to the kid, tie flying and brow furrowed.And wrinkled. But just a bit.
" Hey you! Can you dance?"The kid whipped off a few Keeler-like moves." Yeah!"

" Can you sing?"The kid ran through scales and hit a note that broke a glass and caused some of the chorus to ..ahem.

" Get dressed kid, this is your shot at the big time!!You're our new headliner!"
" Oh, wow, lil' ole me? Lil' Clark from Smallville?Corney as Kansas and twice as fresh? Head lining a Broadway show?"

Clark's cheeks glowed pink from emotion, and he almost cried for joy as he slowly tapped in place until he heard Mr. Luthor say....
" Yeah, and..speaking of 'Head', kid...

that clearly indicates that clark was naked before, and this causes me to wonder what this production is and where it plays, because I want to see it....
