I remember him from Wiseguy, where he played Vinnie's FBI contact, "Uncle Mike". I can't remember what his character's real name was, just that Mike was the code name Vinnie used when checking in.
Oh My God! You loved Wiseguy, too? I loved the show, but the guy I really loved was Roger Lococco. Do you know how many episodes of Boy Meets World I sat through just to watch him? I've actually seen some Wiseguy fic up somewhere, but I can't remember where, or if it was slash, or not. I wish I'd bookmarked them.

He was in a great show called "Middle Ages", shortly after Wiseguy ended. It only ran about 5 or 5 episodes, about 3 middle aged guys, but it was great. William played a guy who decided to start a rock band, and Amy Brenneman was hi much younger girlfriend, who sang in the band.
Dawson Leery was the title character of the series Dawson's Creek who many people dislike. I can tolerate him, especially when Jensen Ackles was in the last season. Okay, and I like Joshua Jackson and there was canon gay characters *and* my slash ship became canon.
