Pouting and Whining....

Ya'll know I love you, right? And I want you to be happy no matter what it takes, and when you're happy, I'm happy. I'll sit by your side and soak up your joy, and wish you more of it. However. I have to say, I'm feeling the teeniest tiniest desire to kick SGA and SpN in their cute and adorable asses for stealing so many of my girls away.

I've read the fic, and enjoyed the fic very much, but it doesn't move my muse. I really enjoy the shows, very much, but they don't make me say, "holy crap--look at that! Get a room you two!" It disturbs me that the only show that I can see the ho-yay is Supernatural. A little bit in House, a little in Nip/Tuck, but not like the clanging bells of SV or Angel. I'm feeling a little sad I guess. Oh well. Seems like a little wave of melancholy is moving through the ether. Or maybe that shrimp was a little off....

well, since I am one of your girls, all I can say is: i am trying, really, but I look a the pics of SGA, and I feel NOTHING, not the tiniest bit of what I felt for SV.
(and I am not speaking of House or SPN, coz those shows are not even running here yet, and I not downloading them, just to know what everyone is talking about).

I have downloaded an SGA eps, but its lying on my comp, like *dont know how to express* a dead fish maybe??

I know, I am fairly alone (I know I am not the only one, but we are in a minority) with my single, mono-SV fandom attitude (or, well nearly mono, I am reading a bit in HL) and it leaves me with more time for SV, but still, sometimes, I wish; i would get what others see in SGA ... well, maybe its *destiny* or better the *lack of it* , we are not meant to be together *g*

(and I am all happy now, and want to see Lexmas since Peach1250 came up with a genius conclusion, why Lex went all bad ;D, its in her latest entry, I think)

Awwww! No matter how much I love SPN? The Clex is now and always front and center in my heart and my smutty little brain. Clark and Lex are the Yayiest pair ever, no matter how retarded the writers and producers of SV happen to be. I have over 500 Clex fics saved to my jump drive, forever archived for my enjoyment in the comming years, because nothing makes me squirm and flush and drool more than a great Clex fic. Nothing!!

Heh, I totally know the feeling. SGA drives me *nuts* and it's all shiny and so people keep focusing on that and I'm all, but SMALLVILLE!

It reminds me of one time, at Slumberparty, we're driving to go look at Luthor manor, and I'm in the car with northernsky_, talitha78, seperis, akukorax, and hmwitzy, and seperis and akukorax go on this big old run about something about Rodney, and when they run out of steam, northernsky_ turns to me and says "So, Smallville?" because they were the only two SGA people in the van, so we had no idea what they were on about. It was funny.

I see the hoyay in Supernatural, but I'm just not that into the show. Like, I'm TiVoing it, but I always forget to watch it.

Ah well, Smallville forever! I've got a bunch of good picspams planned for when we go on hiatus!

It's funny, I was considering doing something similar. Nowhere near as large-scale, but a "Hey! Look at the yummy SV!" recs post to go with all the SPN and SGA stuff.

Then I realized that everything I was reccing was... older. I need to get some favorites from this year (that aren't WiPs, unfinished, or already rec'ed in my journal)!

sga has the better continuity, and sometimes i just can't take watching a show where the people i want to be fucking and all hoyay kinda hate each other. :< also, the hot dreadlock guy with a tendency for leather shows up second season.

also, there's just as much torture as there is in sv, and that makes me happy.

oh, I watch it, and I enjoy it very much as an SF show. The dialogue is great, the acting is pretty okay, and I like Shep and love Rodney to pieces-- they don't move me to imagine what goes on when we can't see them, sort of thing.

At risk of making you worry -- I'm watching SGA for their team spirit.
Seriously.
I like the characters and their interactions and there is no way they are anywhere near the love that Clark and Lex transmitted. Also, with the fic -- even the kinks don't do with me unless done the vanilla way -- and I don't mean PG rate -- but compare to the stuff it was done in SV (just remember your Alexei story *G*).
The SGA is just not that dirty, but it's fun, show is good, eppies are easily downloadable, I like Rodney's snark. That is it.

The whole *idea* of SGA bores the crap out of me. It's nowhere near as pretty or as gay as SV. I will never leave SV for SGA, NEVER.

SPN I hate, but I quite like some of the fic I've read and I'll dip into the fandom occasionally, but my heart belongs to SV.

Aw, sweetie, I know, I know. Seems like everyone's jumping ship. If it makes you feel better, I've still got Smallville stories to write even if I'm playing with the brand new shiny. Lots more Smallville to tell, and loads of Bruce and Lex. I understand how you feel - I felt like that when I'd never seen the show - but the McShep chemistry works for me on the show. Not the same level of eyefucking brilliance of early SV, but I love the snark of the oh-so-married.
