I got tagged for the simple pleasures meme a time or two, so I’m going to do it, I’m all about the simple pleasures! . I’m not tagging anyone back because—well, just because.


1)My kid’s smile. Nothing makes me feel warmer, happier, just plain good, then seeing her smile.

2)Making her laugh—it’s hard to make her really laugh out loud.

3)Making Mr. Roxy laugh really hard.

4)Spending time with my niece. She’s so much fun to talk to.

5)Hitting a rhythm when you’re writing that’s so good even the sound of the keys are like music. Can’t explain, it’s just good!

6)Sitting out side, drinking coffee and reading.

7)Having a dream about smoking. *sigh*

8)Laying on Mr. Roxy. So warm, so roomy.

9)Going to bed, all chilly and stuff and snuggling up to MrRoxy—I enjoy the high-pitched screams.

10)Waiting for Mr. Roxy to give me the chocolate he’s been hiding. I know where it is, it’s just more fun when he wants to share. *g*

*g* on number 9. I do that to James too, and he'll have this mini-seizure and then shout "Woman! Get away from me with those feet!"

...I've got the coldest toes in the world.

And number 7. Those are gonna plague me for the rest of my life. We've already made a deal that after the first of us drops, the leftover gets to smoke himself/herself to death. I think about that fondly sometimes.
