So, if someone defriends you and you like them, can you keep commenting in their journal anyway? What's the etiquette here? People defriend for a lot of reasons, I chose to think that they're mostly not personal, 'cause, you know, enormous ego like that. *grin*

Don't take it personally, for sure! when i had to scale back it's b/c i didn't know most of those people and i was reding really painful things every single day.

But I have to say, when i did it, i offered an easy out for whoever thought it was mutual. I wish there would be -some- communication before the "snip" so to say, you'd feel less conflicted.

Oh no, I wouldn't and haven't actually. Just wondering if it's the kind of thing where you have to pretend you don't know the person. And I understand that when someone's post are mostly painful and depressing and you don't know them well enough to offer real help, it can be pretty rough.
