roxyFriends, beloved ones! I missed you so much! I'm really an idiot for going out to Oregon and not looking up you guys who live out there but I'm not that much fun in person anyway, so trust me, you didn't miss much.
It was lovely there, I must say--no humidity! *gasp* You can't imagine what a blessing that is! My girlfriend recently bought an adorable house, so Mr. Roxy spent some time helping her fix a few little things that needed a big strong man. Yeah, that's my generation--are there bugs possibly involved--get a man! Spiders and icky things should be dealt with by someone not us.
I ate, oh my god so much, and such good things! Plus, I ate OYSTERS!!!! ewewew! It was scary! And not least of all the place we ate them in. It was a small local tavern I guess--the kind of place where when we stepped in the door, everything just sort of--stopped. I had that oh god moment. The one I get when I’m in certain neighborhoods in Philly, like, oh say—Fishtown. But no—a baldheaded tatted up hells angel looking dud came running over and we got treated like royalty. They were all so sweet to us and thought it was adorable that I almost ralphed when the oysters came. But I was brave and ate one. It tasted like deep fried ocean with the consistency of snot. Yum.
There was more of course, our three days at the shore—oh pardon me—the *coast*. Mr. Roxy picking up guys wherever we went—no seriously—the guys out there were fascinated with him. Maybe he pinged their macho—at first glance he looks a little intimidating, or so I’ve been told. He’ pretty big, and if you’re not used to--*a-hem*--men of color, maybe a little scary—HAHAHAHAAA!!! And once or twice I thought he might be getting a leather vest in the mail…*koff* Anyhoo—as always he made an impression. He’s just a big snuggly teddy bear at heart and he draws people to him. I’m at his side to make sure they get gone again. *grin*. I’m our own personal un-welcome committee!

In other news, BG is loving her Italy trip and assures me the David is everything you ever imagined and more. There will be pics from her also, next week. I can’t wait, I miss my BG!
And I believe the Niece has kidnapped the dog and refuses to give him back.

That's funny about Mr. Roxy. Are you sure the men weren't trying to hit on you, Ms. Fabulous? I bet that was it.

Oh, I shall be getting my little doggy back, believe me! But
I'm really glad he had a god time while we were gone, the thought of him spending two weeks in a kennel was just awful! This way he got lovely treats and walks and two college babes making a fuss over him--I wonder if *he* weants to come back--lol!!
