Crap! I've messed around with Deal so much that I've screwed up my timeline. And I'm not sure exactly what I want to do. I had this brilliant idea and I love it and that means that I have to change so much. Should I? Or shouldn't I? I should--I'm not under a deadliine, unlike my wildly staggering and flailing to an ending SVBB thingy. *RACH-patooooieey* We'll speak of it no longer.

Thins is, I *love* this new thing, as much as I love Miss Ripley. Oh. I didn't mean to let anyone know that. I just can't get it together to work on it. Maybe I should post little bits--or just tell everyone what happens and say, "The end."

Aaaaaaaaaahhh...I'm just whining again. I *love* to whine out loud. Or, you know...

Is there a way to write what you already have and complete it, and then write the new idea as an AU or remix of the original idea and already partially constructed fic?

Ah, the idea that bit me is a change in the relationship of two of the characters. I think it's an interesting change, but it kind of amps up the woobieLex factor, which I was really trying to avoid. The change means that I have to shift some actions farther down the road. Which makes the story longer and complicates another relationship. What a surprise. *g*
