Can you guess my kinks by reading my stuff? Just wondering...I notice that I have some real definite ones and I wondered if anyone else ever thought, "Boy, what a weirdo, she sure must like(inset kink here), 'cause she writes about it a lot."

(Why is it whenever I'm writing I post these odd things?)

Seriously though, do you think people make the mistake of thinking that writing it and liking it are the same things? Or that you reveal yourself in some way by what your characters think? Sometimes it seems to be the case, when people get responses attacking them personally in some way for what a character in their story does. Odd thought, isn't it?

I'm avoiding Ripley...she's looking at me funny. Plus it's past old folk's bedtime and you know how they mind starts to wander when its late.

No, I don't think that because an author writes about something (even if she/he writes about it a lot), she/he likes it in real life. I just think she/he likes to write and read about it. I think that the kinks you like to read about are very different from real-life kinks.

And yet sometimes, it seems that apparently normal people can't separate the words from the individual. Of course, I know full well that the people on *my* flist are incredibly intelligent, wise, perceptive, talented and extremely beautiful. *nods*
