OMG. I love this list. Especially the Hemingway/Faulkner exchange (but Earnie dear, it's not you simple language... you're boring, too). And the ear of van gogh thing. This is kind of why i like the elder Gilmores on GG. They say the bitchest things in the most polite language :)
