I'm broke, depressed, and not looking forward to Christmas morning. capnzebbie made me feel so good, and I wanted to do that too, but not this Christmas.
Okay, no more whining. I can't make it even half-way interesting.

Aww, that's beautiful. Though the tree is a little small. Hey, what? I've grown up in Christmas tree land. Seriously! We have a lot of Christmas tree farmers here. And their fields - and that means: Christmas trees for free. *coughs*

My kid keeps saying the tree is small! No, it's huge!! It is--or maybe because I'm kind of short. The kid we bought if from said, "It's five feet tall." and I said "Oh, that's too big," and my kid says, "It's tiny! you're only three inches taller than the tree!" Which is why she's sleeping in the garage. *nods*

I found a wonderful Lex in Target, DC is putting out this great line of figures, excellent work for kind of cheap! This is where my money goes...toys and books. So sad. ;)

Thank you--I hope it goes well for you too. It's not that usual for me to be depressed but the financial situation has been awful. If I'd known it was going to be this horrible, I wouldn't have taken vacation this summer, oy!

It's a pretty tree! And we used to have a similar tree-topper (my parents got it right when they were married or something, so we had it forever) and then last year or the year before it broke!!! Sadness.

I really like the giant Superman figure lording over the rest of the guys, with medium-sized Lex by his side. And The Batman turning the other way, giving them both the cold shoulder.

And you painted that cabinet? It's gorgeous.

Did you see the Robin, Supes, Bats trio? My niece asked it I put them in order of toppiness. *G* and god help us if I find a Supes sized Lex--it would put the perv in perversion! On teh side you can't see, there's a giant Batman. I've asked for a Joker for Christmas (hopehopehope)
