Happy!

Christmas turned out to be great, and the children swore up and down that they were happy, and that I was a nutcase, and they loved everything. Everyone else, I'll take care of after New Years. That's it! No crying, no guilt!

As for me--oh my goodness! Stuff I got, so much amazing stuff! Incredible stuff!
I got the Supernatural, I got SupBearman from my daughter, I got a Superman and a Batman figure locked in a passionate embrace and I got to open that in front of my aged and homophobic pop, thanks to my niece. That was an amusing surprise. I got another teddy and I said, I should name her Lois and she can be SupBearman's girlfriend and everyone laughed and said, You're kidding right? Lois, sure--you meant to say Bruce right? Okay--hello--blow up my spot why don't you?

It was a great Christmas morning. And then we ate like pigs and passed out watching Scrubs. Can it get better than that? Pictures soon, I hope.

I skimmed my flist,and was glad to see so many people being nice to each other, and there are a million stories to read, and I think I'm going to have to call out of work one day this week and spend all day reading and drinking coffee...*sigh* That would be heaven!

Sounds like you got a major haul. I had a geek fest for my Xmas. I got a flat screen monitor from my Mommy, and a scanner-printer-copier from my hubby, The Ultimate Guide to the Justice League of America from my daughter, and coffees and candies(just what I need) from my son. I also got a superman flashlight.In addition to all my cool gifts I also bought myself a Lex Luthor action figure at Target and a Clark Kent Smallville action figure from ebay. I think I have more toys now than I did when I was a kid. I know I have more toys in the attic than I did when I was younger. :)

I spent the day playing with my grandson. On Christmas Eve Eve(the 23rd) I bought a last-minute gift I couldn't resist. Its a castle with a dragon and a Griffin(Their spelling, not mine)He spent hours playing with that.

I think I have more toys now than I did when I was a kid. I know I have more toys in the attic than I did when I was younger. :)
