- I know. I know. Because really even if it was straight out fluff (sexy hot naked fluff), we would all feel bad because Whitney was no longer in the picture (SO invested in Whitney now, shame on you ;)- Destiny is a harsh mistress.

- Lucas...ahem...OH CRAP!! You just can't leave things crappy enough, no you have to go for added pain... So who does Lucas have crush on? Whitney - make Jealous-Basketball-chest-bump!Clark; or Clark - Lucas getting all Sexual Harassment Panda on him and giving Clark panic attacks?? So much trouble wrapped up in on person. But at least that will bring some Lex-to-the-rescue action (oh wait, is that angst tinged frottage I see btw Lex and Clark... oh it just might be. Poor Whitney.)

- Misunderstood, but sexily droit du seigneur!Lex, seducing surly TrueLove!Clark while laughing kinda meanly at all the provincial Mutant!Serfs, is also so much the sexy. I think the 2nd cover is just such a blatant visual treat that I can't help myself. You know I'm so easy where Lex and Clark are concerned it's sad.
