I haven't answered comments yet because I feel evil and cranky and mean. I'm feeling really cranky. Like drop-kick the laptop out the window and hope it lands on someone cranky. Like go up the Empire State Building and wing pennies over the side, and cross my fingers and laugh evilly cranky. I can't stand me, the Fam can't stand me and the dog is eying me and licking his lips, so I'm not going to take a nap either. Just in case. He's been kind of cranky lately too.

I'm pretty sure I haven't been cranky here, but I haven't wished anyone a happy birthday and if I missed you, I'm really sorry. I've been way less than supportive lately too, sorry. But don't come too close, I really might bite.

Another thing--how stupid was I those many years ago not to be watching Homicide?

Okay. I'm going back to figuring out how to bring Clark and Lex together without killing too many people.

And then Clark would ask St Peter to help him find his spouse, but Peter would bring him his LEGAL spouse Lois, which of course is not at ALL what Clark meant. Then after more research St Peter would tell him, sorry bub, your "spouse" Lex isn't in Heaven, guess he's in hell.

So naturally Clark says, "So just how do I get there, then?" and finds himself being tossed out of Heaven by some burly angels and falling and falling and falling ...

And well, if you've read Heinlein's "Job: A Comedy of Justice", you know how the rest of the story goes.
