So Sad...

Last week, I was at thamiris's website, reading her stories,and thinking what a wonderful writer she was, and what a fascinating person. Today, I come home and read the news,and I feel like I lost something special. I didn't know her, I just lurked at her journal, and enjoyed the way her mind worked. She was a unique person, the kind of people that SV attracted in the day. I know she'll be deeply missed. THis is very very sad news.

I can't stop crying, and I had that same feeling of inauthenticity (I barely knew her, on a personal level), but on the other hand, she was so much what I aspired to be: an unbelievably brilliant writer who brought an amazing creative eye to fic and to meta, and someone who just created an atmosphere in her journal where everyone truly felt welcomed, and where people had the most passionate and interesting discussions. I just can't believe she's gone, and I'm so damned angry at the universe right now.
