I see today is Thomas' birthday, and he turns 30. That's a big age, 30. It really is a turning point. It's an example of how beautiful he is that he can convincingly play (to me at least) a much much younger person. I love Thomas. He's grown on me so much. I remember thinking, pretty but dumb, the first time I saw him. I mistook earnestness for stupidity.

Sorry, Thomas. Now, I think you're the bee's knees. And smart too. *grin*

I completely made the same mistake. There's a lesson in that, for sure. He is earnest, smart and well-spoken with a wry, deadpan sense of humour I adore. It can make him hard to read at times, but the more I've learnt about Tom, the more he's grown on me.
