Huh, I don't really watch the Dead Zone that much (and have always been more of a Johnny/Bruce fan myself), but since you mentioned it earlier I watched. I didn't think it would stick - Dead Zone is notorious for "killing" people and then turning back time or having it all be in Johnny's mind. So I was shocked, shocked, when he stayed dead.

Right up until the credits rolled I was convinced we were still in the middle of a vision, and he was going to fix things.

Dammit. I'm pretty sure I'm going to stop watching the show now. I was pretty much only watching for Johnny/Walt and/or Johnny/Bruce, and now Walt is dead and Bruce is gone--and it seems the apocalypse has been averted, too, so what's the point?

TELL me about it. Walt dead, Bruce apparently moving away... 2/3 of my reason for watching the show just went poof. I love Johnny, but he's not enough, especially if this is an excuse for him and Sarah to have lots of angst while maybe kind of getting back together.

I am just hoping that the show's best qualities didn't die with Piller Sr. Because the thought of Johnny and Sara getting back together turns my stomach as much as the previews of the new sheriff (shades of SV's head female cop?).

If they make Stillson a good guy, they'll have to change the name of the show. Just call it something else and be done with it. Now Johnny's lost his husband Walt and his brother, Bruce. What's he going to lose next--Sara? Stoopit show!
