I am right there with you, what is this thing about desperately trying to hold on to the Lana character. The time has come, past, and swung back round again to say bye bye to Lana Lang!

In my opinion, Chloe has gotten the bums rush for the entire series. She never gets anything that is just about her for too long. Clark, was never gonna happen (but her cousin, sure, why not.), they call her name to walk for graduation, the state police break up the ceremony before she can get on stage, starts to get some recognition as a journalist, toss the spotlight Lois's way instead. Finally, finally she gets a steady boyfriend not out to kill her, he ogles another girl in her face! Seriously, they crap on that character every season, it always ticks me off!
