There will be more.

You know, without spell check, ya'll would swear I was a drooling moron--I can not spell to save my soul. I think it's a mental block, and this not being able to type like all the cool kids do?It's not helping.Just sayin' cause I spent a good part of the afternoon subjecting [livejournal.com profile] tabaqui to my lack of skills.

She's a lovely patient person who has tasty brains!I love the way her mind works.I like that about all of you, so smart and such interesting takes on the world.

My stars! What a rambly person I am! From spellcheck to tellin ya'll I think you're all so cool!*hugs list, distributes cheek pinch here and there*

That's all 'till I fix this next part up!

mmmm... braainnnsss...
Well at least you know you can't spell, and you deal with it before you post, because i'm telling you, about half the stuff i read, and some of these people are damn good writers otherwise, i'm stopping mentally to reword or correct spelling as i'm reading. I don't ever want to see "Spike put his arm around Xanders waste" again!! You hear me people?!

Or, when he bears his soul?

Or, automatically accepting spell checks corrections?I learned that the hard way..it doesn't know what your intent is, so sorry, still gotta check by eye!

Since I've got you on the line, do you know of a source for Victorian erotic terminology? it seems like I've seen something like that before. like, would watson say rod or member, or something else? did they say cock then? It's kinda hard to be writing in that setting and not have it seem like it's a parody or funny, seems like there's a fine line there, and i don't want it to be laughable where it's not intended to be. i should go to that Sacrilege site and see if there are any links ~ i just remembered that.

So, you just answered your own question? Because I have no idea, sadly, and could use the info myself!

No, no luck. Found stuff on writing in the period, but nothing about erotic terms. I know there is victorian porn! I've seen it. just not recently. i reread some stories on sacrilege and they use member, phallus, and cock. grr. I'm frustrated and i can't let this go...
