those het folks are not new, that are coming into SV. they have always been there, I think , they were just not with us on LJ fandom.
even if because of the heaps of clex fics, that i dont come around to read much het, its a good feeling, to have so many new fen with us. plus, there are tons of great artists! with a cast like SV, honestly, you cant do much wrong! all the pretty icons, that the ledger linked to, are awesome! lana, chloe, clark, lex all sooooooooooooooooo pretty!
but i totally agree, lol, on the "fucking in some corner of my mind".....i dont know, how i manage to do ANY work at all in my job.
