You know, people, I've read more het in the last few days than I have in the entire--what--four years I've been here with ya'll? Hunh. That's pretty interesting. I've noticed that more and more folks coming into SV are not into slash--most of the posts to SV_fanfic lately are het. That's interesting, isn't it? Wonder why? Could it be that it's because they pretty much killed the Ho-yay ded on SV? We knew it was coming but I never expected it to be so...blech. Boring, weird, stupid, pick your word. Still, even in the face of writing that makes you go "Beeenh-hunh?" when the boys do get screen time together, there's always the tiniest little spark still there.
And as far as me--hey, they'll always be fucking in some corner of my mind.
Which makes it hard sometimes, when I'm shopping and stuff....

even if because of the heaps of clex fics, that i dont come around to read much het, its a good feeling, to have so many new fen with us.
plus, there are tons of great artists!
with a cast like SV, honestly, you cant do much wrong!
all the pretty icons, that the ledger linked to, are awesome!
lana, chloe, clark, lex all sooooooooooooooooo pretty!
but i totally agree, lol, on the "fucking in some corner of my mind".....i dont know, how i manage to do ANY work at all in my job.

oh yeah, that actually makes me feel better because new folks coming to LJ and in SV fandom is always a good thing and fresh eyes on Clark and Lex are always good.
I just worry sometimes that eventually no one will want to read what I have to say, becasue I'm writing about something they don't care about--clex.
*hangs head in shame* It's always about me.
