Where I'm at, what's up! yakkity-yak!
3/11/08 11:56 pmYes, writing like a crazed thing--writing and dumping stuff, but writing!
So, in between the SV fic that eats my brain, I've been noodling around with that SpN thing I keep talking about but showing nothing. So today, Sam decides that his part of the story should be in first person, which is kind of creepy, but I'm more comfortable with that than I have been and in fact, it's kind of fun. What's hard is keeping the tone right. Why Sam instead of Dean I have no idea. I'm just letting it go where it wants for now—no editing at all. I read that it's best tot write while the writing's good and worry about editing later—good advice for obsessive tinkerers (?) like me. I can't read anything I've done without dicking around with it.
So, I've been working away on Sam's part and Dean's part has been not exactly languishing but most of it is being written in my head, heh! Also, Dean is about to be partnered with Angel…remember Angel? Buffy's Angel—or Spike's Angel, depending on your flavor? Yeah, you think that's odd? Try Sam and Charles. Yes, that's right, I said it. This thing will never see the light of day if I don’t finish it. There's no way in hell I'd ever post this as a WIP. It's too fucking weird. But let me tell you guys—so much fun!! Most of it is still spread out in a couple of different notebooks and the back of shift change forms…*happysigh* I kind of like wild stories like this.
Aaaand speaking of stories, I'm about to do something so fucked up to my favorite character, it's making me a little nutty. *shrug* It's this thing I do. I was nuts the whole time I wrote my weird little Russian story, all kinds of whacky stuff happened and I was constantly worried it was too gross—imagine my shock to find out it was kinda mild to most folks, and Clark and Lex behaved pretty badly. And The Dog—lawks! I sweat blood agonizing over that one—that *was* kind of a fucked up story though…I just don't want to disappoint folks too much.
Most of you know shit's going to hit the fan right?
I'm just trying to make myself feel better, that's all. *G*
Completely random and brought on by today's mini marathon on Sci-Fi, Dark Angel is a compelling, fascinating, highly entertaining show any time Alec is on the screen…just saying.
Fun facts! For new people, or nosy folks like me--ask me anything, and I will answer truthfully. As far as you know...*G*

This is the elderly puppy who's been doing his best to kill me by sleeping on the stairs in the dark. Isn't he cute? Sort of?

3/12/08 05:10 am (UTC)You've seen my speedbump kitty, right? *points to icon* He lays all over the house, especially in the middle of walkways and will NOT move unless you push him. :P

3/12/08 07:41 am (UTC)And that dog is cuuuute. I'll trade you my parents' hyper poodle mix. He will certainly not try to trip you by lying down. He'll be jumping on you so much that he'll accidentally push you down the stairs. But he'll lick your face until your better.
As for random questions, I have none. I feel like I should ask something, but I have no idea what.

3/12/08 11:34 am (UTC)Sam and Dean? Haha, kinda not surprised since SPN has some pretty awesome male characters.

3/12/08 05:35 pm (UTC)Silly dog story: A friend of my dad's has a chiuaua ('s that how you spell it?) Anyway, he was asleep one day and felt something tickling his nose, so he swatted it away. It wasn't until he heard the yelp that he realised he'd thrown the doggie off the bed. ::snicker:: The dog's fine natch, otherwise it wouldn't be a funny story but HEE! I can just picture it in my head. SWAT! BANG! YELP!
Yeah, I'm easily amused.
On the question front (I'm wordy today!) As I'm going to be an aunt in about 7 months ::bounces madly:: how did you react to the news of an upcoming niece and dude! how cool is it to be an aunt?!
