I'd really get behind Chloe's hate for Lex if it'd made more sense in the beginning. Sure she hates him now because of what he put her through but before that? What happened? I must have missed crucial scenes that would explain it.

AHAHAHAHAAAA! Wheeew. *wipes eyes*

Anyway....

But what, exactly, has Lex 'put her through'? Chloe has committed far more crimes against Lex than he's committed against her. She's invaded his properties (both physical and virtual) and spied on him and stolen and/or destroyed things that rightfully belong to him and interfered with his on-line finances and even physically assaulted and tried to murder him. (And, yes, twice saved his life, but on both occasions, it was someone else she was really bent on saving, with Lex merely the means to an end.) In return, Lex has saved Chloe's life repeatedly, saved her father's life repeatedly, saved her friends' lives (Lana, Pete, Clark) repeatedly, tried to help her cousin Lucy, refrained from pressing rightful legal charges against Chloe herself and against her friends and relatives, etc., etc. Lex even tried to help her mother (not to mention the entire human race) by bringing the woman out of a self-induced catatonic state, but when he asked for her help in saving the world and refused to immediately let her run off on her own with an experimental and temporary drug in her system after she'd admitted when she first had herself committed that she was a danger to her daughter (and possibly to others, as well), the crazy bitch first tried to kill him by having Chloe run him off the road and bash him over the head, and then by sending a psycho after him with specific orders to murder him in cold blood. All I can think of that Lex has 'done to' Chloe is make a few low-key threats he's never followed up on, and now rightfully fire her for trying to steal from him. From my perspective, it's Chloe who owes Lex the apologies, and not the other way around.

I'll admit to being a wee bit Lex-protective. *eg*
