Can't sleep--hot flashes be killin' me. Hormonal tides are making me into a crazy person. All day today, I was just fucking scary! So effing *NICE* to everyone! Smiling at the customers, laughing at the register...omg, I was like a fucking Stepford Roxy. All sweetness and light, and singing and smiling at babies...this menopause shit is going to kill me. And everyone kept asking if I was okay, and then they asked me if I was going to stay that way...yah, fuck you too, I replied. And felt a little better...*GRIN* I need a haircut in the worse way. The longer my hair gets, the more little kids want to talk to me. I guess I look more like Santa's wife or something. I'm all 'yeah, nice little kid--where's yer mom so I can kick her in the neck for leaving you here?' nah, kidding--(i know how touchy ya'll are getting out there)

In fannish stuff--shhhh! Any more whining and groaning oh noes and I'll tell you all about my sex life in graphic detail and bearing in mind my age...that's better. So EOtS, I'm feeling all triumphant--you may high five me if you choose (mind you, i'll laugh at you but...) I spent most of last night writing this awful, horrible eye-squinching bit of Wade and Lex's New Years Eve, wow. It was bad. I sat back and thought whoa--sick. *BIGGRIN* I'm feeling pretty good about it, yeah. And then I went back and deleted most of it and toned it waaaaaaay down, and I'm even more pleased. As someone much wiser than me said (i think it was myownghost) it's not really necessary to show all the icky squirmy bits (well, she said something like that) so I didn't. It's enough to know I still can. *shrugs* What can I say? Yer Mother has rare moments. ;)

So, on my list to do!

1) Get those boys into a threesome! I decided that (This Title Is) Coming Soon will
stick.

2) Get cracking on that Change The Smallville History thing...wish I remembered more about it...

3) Make crazy love to my Smallville Kids challenge answer--is so much fun! Thanks justforspite! For helping me out and also, for making my brain run around squeeing lke a mad thing--your Postcards From Hell is so fuuuuuuuuucking brilliant! how do you *do* that?

4) Be all stupid for love and try to come up with an idea for an m-preg. *growlmutterwhackself*

5) Wish you guys a good day--so many of you really really deserve it! I'm thinking of you all. Kisses to everyone who needs one.

did you let anyone else read the wade new year's eve thing before revising it? was it reeeeally painful? i find when i write sex scenes (which i don't much any more), i naturally elide over the squishy, squeaky details, out of some weird reticence, or maybe just the sense that i don't have enough experience to write realistically. *wonders about roxy's sex life*
