eta:I realize now, this is a manip, and like a dork, I have no idea where I got it from. I do know there was no credit attached. If anyone recognizes who did it, let me know so that I can properly credit it. I *hate* when stuff like that happens. :(

Lol! I am sort of falling into SPN these days. The brothercest still squicks me unless done well...er, very dark? Er... I think my vocab fails me at talking about brothercest! :P

However, there is a bunch of surprisingly good AU RPS from the show which gives me the chance to think of pretty pretty Jensen. How is it that he's so much hotter on SPN than he was on SV??

And I really only mention it because I am reading a burning hot WiP right now--was sucked into it not realizing it was a WiP, but homg! Incredibly hot! Full of ultra controlling teacher Jensen (with glasses!) and cocky student Jared. I think you'd like it, dear. Or maybe not--I'm not sure what you are reading these days. :) In any case, go here to check it out. She's got 3/5 written.

omg, I *love* SpN with a passion! I write it (a little), read it--I've been loving the spn_j2_bigbang, have you checked it out? some of those stories are genius! I really like RPS in this fandom, for some reason it's easier to read in SPN compared to SV.

And yeah, Jensen is soooo much hotter as Dean than Jason. I really didn't like that character.

Yes! Exactly. And, I really don't think it is possible for any sort of ongoing relationship--you know, where they settle in and get comfy. It has to be hurty and nasty each time. 'Cause I really don't want to read about how they are making each other happy with the incest. Only about how they are fucking each other (and fucking each other up). It's a good thing the show is about such creepy, already fucked up characters! :)

Thanks for the recs. I have read a couple from the Big Bang and was really pleased with a couple. I'll check out Janelly, too.

I have to say that I am approaching this fandom with a certain amount of fear. When i start reading a new fic I'm never sure if it's going to go to the nasty or to the hearts and flowers with just a lip service to "...Dean knew this was wrong (but)..."

I think that is one of the reasons I like the RPS--not so scary in comparison. I also like how many AUs there are! My biggest hang up with RPS is that I am really not interested in the actual actors' lives. AUs fix everything! I'm still getting used to the fact that there seems to be some kind of convention to include a whole cast of other CW actors, though. Weird!

it's kind of odd, and I wish they wouldn't because they hardly ever get the characters right. I think the SV folks have a certain way we see those guys, a sort of fanon for RPS. I mean, I just can't imagine a douchy Thomas, or a stupid Mikey. It kind of throws me out of the story, makes me wish they'd just--make up somebody. :)
