I just put down my coffee cup and reached for my cigarettes and for like half a second, was really pissed I couldn't find them. You know , like pawing all over my desk and all where the fuck is that pack I put down TEN YEARS AGO--WHAT THE FUCK??????

Oh my deadly little killer friends, I miss you so. God. what the hell *was* that? I'm still kind of antsy...geez.

So you know that Lexless story I'm writing? He keeps tapping my shoulder. Go away I say, this isn't about you. He doesn't go far, he just wanders off pouting...poor guy.

My eyes are boiling! I'm tired! And just a leeeeeetle cranky.

our brains are unbelievably complex, storing memories that pop out as if on cue, but what cued them? when writing checks, i'll occasionally find myself filling in "1979" or similar for the date, as if that wasn't almost 30 years ago.

lex wants to be part of the party! it probably makes him crazy to think of clark making out with whitney.

no, not smoking, but for some reason, last night you couldn't have told my brain different. I really did think my cigarettes were hiding on the table some where. I did quit smoking ten years ago, the day after my kid's birthday.

Yeah, my mum actually stopped drinking greek coffee because every time she had it she wanted a cigarette. Every. Time.

Now, personally I'm not a smoker though if anyone takes away my coffee I have a bit of an episode. I can handle less caffeine, but no caffeine at all is beyond me. ::is much admiring of the people who quit::

oh my dear, I fought *hard* to retain my coffee habit, lol! I substituted mints for cigs and it worked, thank god! The trade off was I had to go to fifty/fifty with the coffee. My doctor's orders were strictly decaf, but I like a little bit of a kick in my cup. :)

I quit 21 years ago, and I still have dreams wherein I "accidentally" took up smoking a pack a day again. Best dream EVER to wake up from.

So, no, no! Ha! It was a sudden shocking one time thing--it was just weird. But...I do love having dreams where I'm smoking. At first, I feel like a complete failure but I realize I'm only dreaming and boy, I really enjoy it then. Too short, those dreams.

I only quit because my doctor pissed me off sooooo bad.
