You know, every once in a while, you read a story that makes you want to, oh, I don't know, find out who the person is, get their address, go to their home, duct tape them to the floor and beat the soles of their feet until they swear in letters written in their own blood never to write again. And no, no, it's not someone *any* person on my flist knows, I promise you.
And don't ask me where I read the story. You know I won't tell. *ppbbbllt*

Holey Smokes. Remind me not to get on your bad side, because - ouch. What was wrong with it? Was it just that badly written or offensive in some way? I ask cause I am really nosy AND because I am hoping to avoid this awful fate in my own writing. *g*

I hardly *ever* do something like this! But it was just--the writing wasn't that bad, it was just that the only way I knew the characters were meant to be men were their names. Even if you're writing an AU you should be able to tell who they are, and what *gender* they are. All that comes with practice, and skill. I know this and yet--the story just set my teeth on edge!
