my secret shame
4/4/09 01:02 amThough really, come on. I guess some people don't watch the previews? At any rate, I just want to say, I'm completely excited by the idea of another brother! There, I said it. I've had time to get used to the idea--yay spoilers!--and I'm down with it, as the old folks say.
The kid they picked to play the brother? Hokey smokes--they *made* that kid, just like Luthor made Conner! It's freaky! I really hope he does turn out to be their brother--I mean come on--John was hot like fire. He had to have been dipping on those way trips. So he made a mistake. It could happen!
CAN'T WAIT!!!!

4/4/09 12:14 pm (UTC)I hate the whole concept with fiery passion, and I'm hoping it's some kind of gag.
Otherwise, I guess they have their "Supernatural TNG: When J2 Refuse to Re-Enlist" story all lined up.
*eyeroll*

4/4/09 02:30 pm (UTC)I think I love the idea just because of the J2 refuse to re-enlist scenario. The boys definitely don't want to go on after S5, so this is an option. It might work! Those guys are pretty good at twisting cliches into something new, so I don't think the ep is going to stink up the place. Mind you, it could be the hormonal storms talking....

4/4/09 07:22 pm (UTC)SHOW is a two-man deal. Two young, fit, and relatively hungry actors could make the four-year push, and they have, beautifully. Five is asking too much, and showrunners are using devices to give them a break. I get it.
This season really should have been the last, and SHOW should be careening down into its dark, epic finale. I don't doubt that the writers and producers can make li'l bro work as a story. I just wish they didn't have to.
