roxy...a major case of the blabs on my part! Expect more blabbing in the future--or get me to shutp up with some prompts! I probably won't write them, my track record sucks (eyes unfinished prompts from last year) but it'll be fun pretending...
Anyhoo--I had such a hard time posting the end to To The Waters And The Wild (that's right, some minor self-pimpery)that it amounted to craziness. Thanks to Sel and The Niece, I finally did post it but I held onto that sucker for a while. Now, I'm caught in a writers block and no way I'm going to meet the deadline for SVBB. Plus, I've been reading SpNBB like a junkie. I might post a Lodi-based snippet. I've been thinking about thoses guys. Plus, wow, SpN seems to be a fandom for writing stories based on stories. You know what I mean.
On an unrelated note, I want to tell you guys that you're the greatest! I want everyone who has friended me lately (and I'm still kind of trying to figure that out, :))to know that I'm really friendly, we can talk--it's cool! I like interactive folks, but I'm never the one to step up and say hi first. That's one of the things I like about LJ, that you can lurk your ass off, love someone to pieces and never say a word to them. Wait...that's *not* supposed to be a good thing, I think.
Anyhoo, there are some folks on my list that I just instantly fell for--there was something about them that shined through even though this is probably the worst medium to really get to know someone from. I try to restrain myself from falling over a person and staring at them all googly-eyed with love, but the minute they toss out one 'sweetie', I'm all over them like white on rice. Then there's that mommy thing, (being a mommy rearranges your brain something fierce) so I'm unable to say 'oh, that one--that cute little adorable one's my favorite', because you just don't so that. Any way, you know who you are! *shnuggles*
Haha! I'm really giddy with the not having to think about the SpN boys for a moment! So, I hope stuff is going okay with ya'll some Friends have been having a not so good time lately.

Oh hell no, it was nowhere near that interesting--let's just say the best part of that was coming back alive--that and ripping off a quickie in a bedroom with no walls.... ;)
Really, it was a great little cabin--no effing way at this age am I bedding down in a tent, lord. Not now that I've suddenly become manna to mosquitoes--I'm like the holy grail to those things now. I put that down to not smoking any more and thus having nothing to disguise the delicious taste of my blood. (see? it's always about me.)
I'll get Mr. Roxy onto giving me pictures, so you can see how cute the place was!
