Should I get the new Anita Blake? She's tiresome as fuck, but it's supposed to have Edward in it, and you know I love shiny Edward. I just don't want to have to sit through some more of Blake's oh woe is me, everything wants to get this bullshit.

Miss me? *G*

Well, I'm guessing you know the storylines of the books (http://www.laurellkhamilton.org/), yeah? I'd say yes, but only up to Obsidian Butterfly, which happens to be my fav, strictly for Edward, the probably psychotic evilthing bounty hunter. The author kind of chased herself up her own ass, writing about Anita's moral conflict in sleeping with what is supposed to be the enemy, and then I kind of lost track of all the supes that were attracted to her. And she kept kind of getting more and more perfect with just that one flaw and it started to remind me that Mary-Sues were kind of frowned on in the world of actually satisfying porn that we call fanfiction.

So...yeah, the first couple of books were tremendous fun! *G*
