LOL! Well...kinda yes, kinda no...I've done some pretty good stuff on a deadline, but that was Lex and I felt like I knew him inside and out. Still...it would be fun and the last timme I gave it up was when I wrote Waters and The Wild and so totally could have done the BB that year....
Yes, time is the thing that worries me. Back in the day, when I did the Big bigbang, I sat down the first night I knew what I wanted to do and dashed off about 5000 words--I can't do that kind of thing anymore. I'm waaaaaay slower than that now!
I've never been able to get that sort of word count. The best I did was on my Trek BB and got close to 3,000 words in one day and I almost burned myself out.
Depending on how many words you think you can write in that period of time and what type of story you'd be considering there is an AU Big Bang that might interest you.
I've been considering this au_bigbang but I know with how work is right now I'd probably drive myself insane. It does have a shorter word count though.

1/5/10 03:14 am (UTC)I think you can write a story that's the right length for a BB. You have no problem with epics *g* But would you have enough time to finish it?
