Why am I up now? Why am I awake?

Has anyone read a comic called Strangers In Paradise? I found it at the library and it's really , really good, the art's excellent, just fantastic, which is great, a lot of times you're either looking at great art or reading a terrific story but not having both *I'm looking at you, Authority* but is a joy both ways.

I have no idea how old the book is, because I'm too lazy to get up and look at the copyright, knowing my library the thing is ancient but it's the best story of two girls in love ,and troubles and tribulations and the most adorable protagonist ever. I'm going from "daaaawww" to "heeee!" to "waaaaaah!" and loving it. God. I'm turning into a big fucking ball of schmoopiness in my old age. Shit. Must be the hormonal tide of menopause (I hope)

I know what you're saying, "Eww, Miss Roxy, refrain from sharing" and I tell you, hey! I could be talking about my sex life! (If you want to know about that , drop me a line in supeer sekrit kode, and I'll tell all...oh, and I'll require chocolate and coffee)

Awww! Poor little foot--*would kiss but thanmkfully not one of her many fetishes*
This comic is sooo good! It seems to be self published--the copyright on this one (a trade paper back) is 1996, so you might have to order it, or look on line to see if it'sstill being printed--I might have to check if the guy is still doing the book, and Terrry Moore, the author-artist is a guy! I could hardly believe it. it doesn't feel at all like a guy did it.

Sekrit reply :U dont hve chokolat, no stry.

OK! meet me in the square tonight , under the big clock. Wear a pink carnation in your lapel, and I'll be disguised as the the seven foot tall drag queen in the black lace halter holding a pink crustacean.
And remember...be discreet!

*GASP* Alphonse!!! Is it you, my sister-brother -daughter!! How I longed to hear from you, what word of dear Mama, and Papa? Are they still in a snit over my career choice? Not everyone can carry off the stilletos and the two foot tall orange beehive like I can.

No problem! Will do!

Sekrit PS: It would help us be completely and utterly discreet if the crustacean is dead. Or at least on a leash.
