Smallville! Shallow rambling with big ass spoilers

I watched Smallville and once again I kind of feel a bit to the left of things. Folks don't seem to be very happy about it--or am I wrong? Me, I loved it! I loved the whole idea of--*everything*! Some images were so cool I was all "Wow!" right out loud! , I think a few years ago, I would have hated it but I saw it differently last night. Granted, it seems like a fucked up way to get around Michael not appearing anymore but the idea was pretty cool and they talked about this ages ago. Mostly I liked the whole clone idea because we have Tess with Little CloneLex, what a fascinating idea! And these things have all Lex's memories, another interesting take. I hope there are more clones!

The meeting between NutsoClone Lex and Clark made it easier for Clark to hate Lex and once again, I think they could have made that much more interesting. If only they'd actually read the fanfic *sigh*. The actor did a pretty god job of being crazy Lex though, sort of a twisted, exaggeration of everything of Lex.

That dream sequence in the cornfield—boy, when this show does a good thing, they do a very, very good thing. That whole scene creeped me out like whoa. Not to mention my boy looked hot like fire. And then Jor-El speaks, and of course Jor-El continues to be full of shit. Teaching Clark a lesson by bashing him in the face. Kryptonian family values, they suck.

Shallow notes: Lois, get rid of the bangs, not good! Justin lovers must have been screaming their brains out, sheesh. That man is shameless. Does have nice legs though. And that John Schneider is one hot guy. Plus, I liked that he admitted to being an asshole from time to time. But look how he loves his son! That's always been Jonathan's saving grace with me, that he tried to make Clark happy and safe.

So, I'm all rambly and stuff but once again here I am. I'll be here for the whole season, and I think it's going to be *very* interesting! And if Thomas has to offer blowjobs to wash Michael's windows and take out the trash and detail his car to get him back, than do it Tom, do it!!!

i was telling svgurl that i thought its a good idea... especially the way they mention that our lex died. It means that any version of Lex Clark faces now will be a clone and thus if it's evil then well its obviously just defective. heh.

Amen. Speaking of those Kryptonian family values, did you find it at all hilarious that Jor-El's calling Clark on PRIDE when just a few years ago he wanted Clark to rule Earth? Huh? Yeah, like that wouldn't have made him prideful if he'd gone ahead and done that! C'mon, Jor-y Writers, find a stance and stick with it! Last chance to do so, boy!

I didn't *hate* the clone. In fact, I don't know the actor who played NutsoLex, but he did an incredible job of sounding exactly like Michael! Did you think so? I closed my eyes a couple times and it really was like an older, badder Michael!Lex yakking about Destiny and History and. . . you know, Lex things. Plus, it's freakin' DC! Clones abound! Literally, those guys are everywhere, and now with it being Cadmus that housed the critters (poor tank!Lex clone putting up his hand on the glass to wee baby!Lex clone *sniff sniff* that part got me), I can even write Kon-El more easily now! So HA, haters! Lex was cloning at Cadmus and Clark's a stalker! It's canon, bitches! Mwhahahaha!

Ahem. Couldn't care less about Ollie or Chloe or OllieChloe. I go away to my happy Thomas place whenever Hartley or Mack are on the screen. Sad? Perhaps. I don't know. Thomas more than makes up for shitty writing. Duh, right? :D

Yay for Pa Kent, and Clark holding back tears. Yay for in-the-know-Lois, but boo to Dear-John-letter-Lois. Shades of Lana and her breakup video in that letter. Poor Clark, no wonder he has issues. All his love interests turn evil or die, or both, or both and then another cycle, rinse and repeat. Or they clone themselves and then the clone versions turn evil and die and then. . . etc.

Overall, I've come this far in the show for a reason, damn it. Smallville, I am not giving up on you! No matter what you do (although, I would like it if you sucked less in certain parts. . . just sayin'), I am in it till *sniff sniff* The End.

So, yeah. Amen, rox! XD I'm glad you're along for the ride! And, hey, I think Clark just finally fucking flew in that premiere, too. Thank Jebus! *wipes tear from eye* Our boy's getting so big (*cough*Mmmmmm, muscles*cough*)! And did you get the chills when it showed the suit up in the Fortress? Cos I sure as hell did!

I do agree with you, about most things you said here--especially this. I thought he was able take that dialog and make it sound like Lex, older, more bitter. He did a good job of projecting Lexness, and even his facial features were like looking at a funhouse mirror Lex.

I'm one of the few,the mighty, the do-or-die(and wouldn't I just love to DO Thomas J Welling....)er, where was I? ...oh yeah, do-or-die Smallville lover. I know it sucks balls sometimes, and the writers forget many things, but its still my very favoritest show. I'm here til the bitter end, and I'm sure I'll be bereft when the credits roll for the series finale. Thank God for DVDs.

I liked the episode too. Clone! Lex was creepy as hell though. The whole scene with him, Lois and Clark afterwards, just creepy vibes. I liked the clone thing, it wuld have been cooler if one of the Lex clones wasn't so evil but just geninuely confused/puzzled, hah! I think I read that in a fic once!

I loathe Jor-el. I don't know Clark puts so much stock in a computer anyway. Biological family or not. I think Jor-el tries to use that as a way to further its own agenda with Clark, knowing that family values, and respect is important to him. Jonathon and Martha were his parents end of story and that is the only opinion who he should really care about regardless if one isn't living anymore.

I don't care about Chloe or Oliver either nor their big epic love so no comments on that one.

You know that is the first time I have heard that lately. Oliver usually gets bonus points for taking his shirt off, though I think after awhile you just sort become immune to Oliver's golden chest of doom.

I liked Mia aka the Kristen Bell lookalike from last year he mentored more than I did the actual person who does the mentoring. Heh!
