I don't need you to do anything but entertain me. That means showing me pretty pictures, getting me to cover my face and go eeeew or laugh a little or cry a little. If a particular show doesn't make me feel any of those things, I don't feel like you've snuck into my bunk at night and rubbed gum in my hair. There's always next week. I don't need you to tell me truths about life disguised as little entertainments, I've got Life for that. This season is odd and not what I expected--is it the same thing rehashed? I don't know, I'm not a mind reader. I have no idea what Show's runners have planned. I can only guess. Sure, I wanted to have the boys throw their arms around each other and say, "God damn son, I love you. All is forgiven--let's go play!" I also wanted my mommy van to turn into a Mustang but guess what--there's still a van on the driveway. I'll deal.

You do what you do, Show, and I'll hang on as long as I'm having fun. And just so you know, I'm still having tremendous fun.

I've been okay. Swamped with school shit, and it'll only get worse, but that's not unexpected. I'm trying to cut back on caffeine, too (go figure), cos my doc says (and I can attest) that caffeine plus my current meds often have interesting headache-y effects. So, yay.

But I read an interesting Kirk/Spock the other day, and now I'm jones-ing for more of that sexiness. Also, this weekend should boast a few hours of downtime. . . during which a certain someone-someone will have her stuff read. :)
