I'm watching Luther with Idris Elba on BBC America. Has anyone else watched it? It's very good, and so different than American shows with somewhat similar themes. He's really not a very good person, but he's so...well. *koff* You know. ;)

Oh you will like it very much, if you like anti-heroes with wildly questionable motives and lots of people biting the dust. I watch it with Mr. R and we both really like it...for slightly different reasons. *koff*

I watched the whole series online when it was airing in the UK.

I really loved the grit of the show. The characters twisted sense of what is right and what love really is was very compelling.

Then there is also the sexy that is Idris Elba.

Yes! It's so daring, and so bleak--I don't think an American series could bring quite the same kind of pervasive despair to the screen, not in that way. And my stars! Idris--I *love* his real accent!
