I feel pretty good today. I got my idea for Christmas fic nicely solid--a little gift I give to my friends because you've been so good to me. And this fic will have a completely happy ending! No one dies or gets eaten, yay! At least in the SV Xmas fic. :)

My mysterious, behind the scenes once again AU SpN is coming along. I'm stuck--but I'm stuck at 32000 words, so that's not bad, eh? My confidence in it swings up and down, as usual!

Say, my friends, can anyone tell me where I can find backstory on Elliot, without having to find Leverage episodes?

I could maybe answer some canon stuff on Elliot but I don't know of any easy resource. :(

Maybe you know--I remember first season I think, there was a show that had as a side plot Elliot's 'girl that got away'? I wanted to write a pre-Leverage ficlet but I'm not sure how much of their past lives was shown to the audience. I'd like to make it up whole, but not if I'm screwing up canon. :)

If I remember right, they didn't show much, but it was pretty heavily implied that it got as far as an engagement, but that is the only detail that was revealed as far as I can recall.

I'd say making it whole would be fine, because there were no flashbacks . I want to say there was a brief discussion about how it ended and I think it was Eliot who did it and again, I don't believe show gave us any specifics.

Not super accurate, huh? :(

*poking nose in* If I remember correctly, he and the ladyfriend had gotten pretty serious and then Elliot 'disappeared' so she eventually wrote him off and (I think) married someone else. She was angry with Elliot because he never called her or wrote to explain, but a brief flashback showed he was being held in (what looked like) a Chinese prison at the time. He never told her what had really happened.
