I laughed so hard I cried! It was worlds better than I imagined it was going to be. How can you not love a show like that?

I think they get away with it too, because it's kind of a pat on the back and a wink to the fans. I think the show has almost always acknowledged that it took a heavy suspension of disbelief to go along with them, so they know they can shake it up and we'll still be with them! :)
