THURSDAY'S CHILD!!!

I would hold it and hug it and call it my own. Well, not call it my own but I'd be all giddy and stuff. I just have to choose that over my OT3. *nods*

best present evah! I mean, unless you can bring me Jensen naked on a tortilla? What? I get hungry sometimes....

love you sweetie! Thank you for my gifties, too! :)

Copy that, Snuggles! I'm secretly glad you went with that one since I'm already working on it. :) Bit of a delay on it, however, as I'm helping some friends move this weekend -- it being the start of fall term on Monday and all. Hopefully by next weekend, though, at the latest!!! Much love, special lady, on your special day!

Hee! I just wrote a really good line about Sam in this 'verse, hon. You want a taste? *waggles eyebrows*

Ahem! Upon figuring out the dealyo (Dean+Cas, sitting in a tree. . . ), Sam thinks:

It just plain made sense, and that's why he'd been able to suss out its existence in the first place. Sam was good with logic games and puzzles, always had been. In fact, he was quick to spot flaws, discrepancies, and weak points in most anything -- be it the more nebulous aspects of life, like plans and patterns surrounding a hunt, society's ideals, backwards thinking, and double-standards, as well as all manner of philosophical quandaries, or conversely the more concrete errors that cropped up in language, math, science, and the like. For Christ's sake, there were definite reasons why he'd set out to become a lawyer, and foremost among them was the simple fact that he, Samuel Winchester, excelled at taking things apart.

Ooooo, nice one!!

hah! You know what I like about this? It's so true, Sam's right, he *is* good at stuff like that--also, I like that he's vain enough to think that, when he failed so spectacularly in sussing out the pattern in his own life. But then again, when it comes to his brother, Sam is *genius* at sorting through stuff and teasing out the patterns--that's why SoulessSam was able to manipulate Dean so easily.

Sammy! *squeezes his little cheek* ♥

Ha! Yes! I'm glad you caught that because this piece is definitely post-season four, and Sam is *still* in denial that he fucked up with that whole demon!girlfriend thing. Or, actually, it's more like he just has blinders on about it -- like, "Nope, nuh-uh, didn't happen! I have no clue to what you are referring, Dean. Ruby-who? Mistake in judgement-when?"

Sam is awesome. I have to come to absolutely love him. He's a brat, and he's selfish, and he apparently has toxic gas, but that kid fucking rules and he tries so damn hard. As you may have noticed, I have a difficult time writing Wincest, but I ain't got no problem reading it. My SpN OTP has always been The Sam/Dean. Those two just *fit*, you know? (That being said, Destiel is fucking awesome! XD)

*happysigh*

Sam *is* awesome, and his flaws are probably part of the reason I love him, because he does try *so* damn hard. He's got a big heart, and he really does believe the world can be a better place, I think even now he believes that. I don't think Dean ever did--it's all about the job for him, saving some lives, that counted for a lot for Dean. Now, I'm not sure what counts with him.

I like Destiel here and there( I prefer Sassy) but yours and a few other writers make me like it. ;) As for Dean/Sam, well, you know how I feel about that...though in the long run, hah--Dean/THE WORLD is cool with me*GGG*

Which reminds me, I got accused of character bashing for my TD fic that I'm posting now. Me! Me, oy! That hurt, yo. You know me. I was all sinking into a morass of self-pity, but it's okay now, I pulled myself up by my own boot straps and ate half a birthday cake by mineself. *g*

LOL Dude, that's like the exact opposite of me! I've never read a Sam/Cas fic (as I'm assuming that's the aforementioned Sassy pairing), and I probably won't ever unless someone I know and adore writes one. :) (Dude, you haven't written one and I've, like, missed it, have you? Cos that would be so awful of me!!!!)

And who the hell said you bashed in "Come the Night"?! I strongly disagree on that count -- STRONGLY!

*snuggles you*

*bakes you another b-day cake to eat*

LOL! No, I haven't written one, are you kidding, you know I'd be all, READ THIS NOW PULEEZ if I did!

The unhappy commenter was anonymous, and I'm assuming, someone who didn't know me if they did that. Probably commented anony because they expected fireworks. Hey, it is what it is and one's milage may vary, as the kids say. What upset me was that I'd stopped posting to comms so I hate to think someone friended me and then kind of sniped at me in my LJ.

Ah, I went and hunted down the "comment" in question. Yeah, that was basically a drive-by slam. Nothing worthwhile about that comment at all, and I trust you're not taking it to heart. Remember, I read some of this before, and I'm reading it now as you post, and when I get to my second read-through I'll comment like the good friend I try to be (ahem), so I guess I know what I'm kinda sorta talking about here. People are weird, and lj people especially so, and you're doing a fucking incredible job writing something even more fucking incredible, and this person didn't know what he/she was talking about!

Also, sidenote: I hate comms. :( I'm selfishly glad I'm not the only who's given up on posting to them.

*Hugs?*

Gosh, I wish I'd talked to you before I ate all that cake...Hah!!!

Yes, comms and I are done, pretty much. I can be ignored right here in the comfort of my very own LJ thank you very much--the chairs are more comfortable and the coffee's better. *g*

Your requested story is going to take longer than I'd originally quoted you because I've expanded it. o.O Who knew I'd feel the need to actually explain things Soul-Bleed and how the Eyes of Heaven actually work? Go figure.

Former estimate: 4,000 words
New estimate: minimum 12,000 words

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Snuggles!
