Also, this is for the folks I'll be meeting up with this September so I don't come as such a shock! For those of you who think of me as a tall, willowy, Gina Torres look-alike, well. I hate to disappoint you. I also don't look like a pale angel in bondage or a flaming heart, or a smirking wolf. I do look like a chubby little Black woman of a certain *koff* age. Also, maybe awhole lot a tiny bit like a café-au-lait hued Nanny Ogg.

More or less. :) 412 words tonight. Will write 400 words every night this week, swear on Sammy's head. Not much but start out small, right?
I'm thinking about the BB. I've almost changed my mind about doing one more, I think. I'm pretty sure I'm not doing the Sam Dean OTP4EVAHomgyes minibang this year unless I can come up with a faaaabulous idea. My promise to myself is that if I finish Public Enemies soon, I'll be able to seriously think about the challenges. Maybe have more confidence, even. Heck, maybe I'll just write a sequel to my last year's BB, the notwerewolf story. I have a ton of fics I can write sequels to. We'll think about it. I'll probably end up on a few folks' doorstep, so to speak, whining and begging for handholding and nummy treats....mmmmmm, cookies....
Or maybe I'll write about my life, thinly disguised as a J2. Boring, you say? Heck no! There was that time I spent as a trapeze artist, the Slightly Amazing Flying Wahoonie. Oh,and then there was my short excursion into a life of crime--safecracking is no joke, yo. Or maybe that whole thing where I ran a bordello and sold my own line of handmade, gourmet chocolate-covered, cream-filled cakes on the side. Until a certain national baking company stole my idea *and* name for them. Still bitter about those Ho-Hos, you bastards.
See? If I put half the dedication into writing as I do being a whackaloon...

5) whine because my doc says it's time for a colonoscopy. And tiny possibility I have a stomach ulcer, maybe acid reflux. Whaaaa? I have no ulcer! I have no reflux! My doctor's lunchin', tchah!
6) have a muffin with my coffee. I wonder if I can use the power of my mind to make Mr. R bring me a muffin home. I can't find my phone. I should get up and make coffee anyway. I should get my ass in gear and write. I will...in a minute.

I had a great bath though, with bubbles and plastic wrapped kindle. And I washed up with this amazing Bath & Body Works bodywash called Sensual Amber. I love it--it smells like Dean. No, really, it does!

10/12/12 11:18 pmI'm about to do a little house cleaning, LJ-wise, and this time I'm serious! It's time to admit that I'm not likely to write in SV anymore, at least, not long, crunchy stories like I used to. So, I'm cleaning out old comms I friended once upon a time. They make me feel guilty.
You're probably asking yourself, Self, why is Mizz Rose telling me this like I should give a care? Because, Children--my life is boring so I have to pretend interesting stuff is happening here. Though I could tell you about the new laptop and how much I hate the keyboard on this damn thing. It's like learning to type all over again and god knows the first time was hard enough. It is, in fact, a work in progress. Now, I keep hitting the wrong keys all the time.
Tomorrow, I'm going to rewatch eps 1 and 2 of Show with BG and that should be interesting.

This here makes perfect sense--growing up in the service and living most of my young years overseas on a military base ment not much of an accent. Our teacher's were basically accentless, my dad was very careful to scrub the southern out of his voice, and my mom had a slight German accent. So this is what you get. Neutral. I probably have a bit of a Jersey accent, but I don't think much of one. Least ways, I'm clinging to that idea--hah! It's also true I don't have much of a local identity. Even though I've lived in the same town now for 20 years, I'm still just waiting to move.
