Wow...it's Dean's turn to kill with the truth now! Boy, no wonder everyone lies about their feelings, it's been shown time and time again that the truth kills, hah! That was so well done that scene, I believed all that frustration and pain and anger. Now mind you, I'll have to rewatch to get the full sense of it because first time watching I'm always distracted by the beauty. Geez, Jensen is unbelievably good-looking this season. And so on top of things acting-wise.
My buddy Garth was perfect! There's another look at grief and how to handle loss. He's being as much Bobby as he can, and boy I get that right down to the soul. It can be a good, positive way to deal and Garth, Garth is wonderful. I can really believe that he has no rage hidden inside of him. I was glad to see at the end that Dean came around, Garth-wise.
Sam's scenes were a little distracting with the soap opera freeze, but it went a way to explaining how he felt. Why Dean insists that Sam react like he would, I don't know, you'd think after thirty years, he'd have some idea of how Sam works, and it's not like him at all. Still liking the girl--excuse me--*Amelia*. I hope they don't fuck it up.
I'm a little flummoxed by Sam's reaction to Benny. It all smacks of jealousy, which confuses me because I always thought of a selfish Sam so far as Dean's concerned as being more of a fanon thing. So, what else is going on here? What's the real reason Sam's so fucked up about it? Is it just because Dean killed Sam's friend the kitsune? Is it because Dean gave Sam rightly deserved shit about Ruby? Hmmmm...*strokes chins*
Well, I'm sure someone on my flist will explain what's going on because damn, ya'll are smart! I can only say that with Sera gone, we're missing prime opportunities for Sam to take his shirt off, tsk-tsk. Last season he'd have been exposed in all his manscaped glory instead of hiding behind a ginormo undershirt what the hell.
