What a finale!
I'm so conflicted. I wanted to feel sympathy for Crowley but HE'S CROWLEY! He's evil and deserves to feel the guilt and yet I had compassion that's how brilliant Mark Sheppard was.
When Sam told Dean what he confessed, my heart dropped. How many years of angst came to a head right at that moment? Jared was fantastic. His best episode, yet. The only thing that would have made it better would be hearing Dean actually say "i love you". I know it was implied and the emotion was certainly there but I really wanted to hear it.
Crowely is a backstabbing, manipulative, evil, two-faced sonofabitch who knows *just* what he's doing! I didn't believe him for a minute, except for the few seconds that I did...*GGG*
I really thought that Dean was finally going to say "I love you," but I was surprised he said as much as he did. Those guys, if they sat down and actually told each other what they felt--like both of them--they'd make everything a lot better.
Jared kicked ass--he kind of blew Jensen out the water in that scene. I was mesmerized!
