I was just sitting here thinking that this was the worst episode yet. Ever. Probably out of any show that's ever been on television, that was the single worst one.
Dean and Sam didn't even have ONE scene together. Not even a phone call. Seriously. What the hell was that shit?! Do they even realise why we watch?
Sorry, I'm sure there were good things about it, but I just can't get past that.
Oh gosh, I'm sorry that you felt that way, or feel that way about the show! I can't be upset that Dean and Sam weren't together this ep because Sam and Cas! Sam and Cas hug--finally! They talk! I'm happy because they're my minor ship. Also, it doesn't bother me that the boys weren't together because they will be. They're siblings, totally codependent siblings--they don't need a phone call because they're always thinking about each other no matter what. I bet the first thing on their minds each morning is the other. And that's not necessarily a happy thing, trust me.
If only you could watch it with me! I'd have you smiling!! (or, you'd have me hating the show and sobbing into my carefully crafted snacks...)
Yeah, I suppose you're right. I know that Dean and Sam are always thinking about only each other, even when that's very, very bad for them. I just... I guess I miss them being even just a little bit happy about being together.
I've felt that way for a long time. They just seem like they don't care anymore. Not like they're angry or they hate each other or they need some space, just like they don't care. And so I'm having a hard time caring. I need them to SHOW ME they still love each other!
I guess I enjoyed the Dean and Crowley bits some, but the Sam and Cas was just weird. Extracting leftover angel grace with a needle for a locator spell? What the hell even was that? Also, it made me feel bad for Sam, because Cas basically just told him he's always liked Dean better, but now that he can relate to what a screw up Sam is, he'd like to be his friend, too.
Ah, sorry for harshing your buzz, man. I'm being a pooh head.
Ach, don't be silly! I spent 10 years a Smallville fan--this? Why, you'd have to strip me naked and throw me out into the snow before you'd be able to harsh my buzz! And totally not meaning that as an enticement! 'Cause I don't like snow. *koff*
Mind you, I thought the needle thing was a bit of hooey and mostly meant as torture porn if I'm using that phrase right.
In the very beginning, when he first appeared, Cas was basically repulsed by Sam but I think came to like him despite this more profound bond that he had with Dean. I think he came to judge Sam on his own merit, imo. I saw tonight as Cas telling him, you screwed up but so did I, in much the same way. Who else could understand better?
Oh, that show was like a dream come true to my Sassy loving heart! Sam/Dean will always be it for me, but I don;\'t mind a little good Sam/Cas from time to time. Awkward hugs for the win!! :D
YES YES YES YES! Homg, SHOW. I love this show so much. Just - as much as i loved season one is as much as i loved this season. It just gets *better*. :)
I was soooo excited to see Timothy Omundson! And as Cain! SQUEE! One thing I love about Supernatural is the way they twist mythology and the twist on the Cain and Abel story was flippin' awesome! Wow!
This show produces the most amazing guest characters--it's like folks come on SpN and just--bam! They take over the whole screen! I was instantly fascinated with this character, and the twist was fantastic and fit in with SpN's mythology perfectly. If Dean had had the chance and saw no other way, he probably would have done the same thing for Sam.
I loved it, sweetie, especially the hug!!! There was something that kind of scares the heck out of me but we'll have to see what the cost of that will be, huh?
It keeps getting better. It was nice to see a bit of the old Crowley. I'm sooo glad they didn't "cure" him. I love they relationship that they continue to build between him and Sam and Dean.
I really enjoyed the Sam and Cas pairing and that's saying alot cause I'm not a big Cas fan.
"You have a guinea pig" cracked me up. Just the thought of gigantic deadly Sam cuddling up to a fluffy guinea pig. Ha!
What more can be said about Cain. He was awesome. I hope we will see him again.
