Yeah, I suppose you're right. I know that Dean and Sam are always thinking about only each other, even when that's very, very bad for them. I just... I guess I miss them being even just a little bit happy about being together.
I've felt that way for a long time. They just seem like they don't care anymore. Not like they're angry or they hate each other or they need some space, just like they don't care. And so I'm having a hard time caring. I need them to SHOW ME they still love each other!
I guess I enjoyed the Dean and Crowley bits some, but the Sam and Cas was just weird. Extracting leftover angel grace with a needle for a locator spell? What the hell even was that? Also, it made me feel bad for Sam, because Cas basically just told him he's always liked Dean better, but now that he can relate to what a screw up Sam is, he'd like to be his friend, too.
Ah, sorry for harshing your buzz, man. I'm being a pooh head.
Ach, don't be silly! I spent 10 years a Smallville fan--this? Why, you'd have to strip me naked and throw me out into the snow before you'd be able to harsh my buzz! And totally not meaning that as an enticement! 'Cause I don't like snow. *koff*
Mind you, I thought the needle thing was a bit of hooey and mostly meant as torture porn if I'm using that phrase right.
In the very beginning, when he first appeared, Cas was basically repulsed by Sam but I think came to like him despite this more profound bond that he had with Dean. I think he came to judge Sam on his own merit, imo. I saw tonight as Cas telling him, you screwed up but so did I, in much the same way. Who else could understand better?
