LOL - that happens to me all the time. I hear weird shit, and respond to it appropriately, then people look at me like I'm the strange one!
I often say to my hubby things like, "did you just say ...?" And he'll look at me with his "how did I marry you?" look, and say: "Why would anyone say that? Your brain is a strange place."
Steamed baby parrots ... I'm going to have to remember that one.
