Oh, goodness. You guys take care of yourselves and don't get totally overwhelmed, now!

And please pass along my sincere condolences to Mr. R. I am so very, very sorry for his loss. Losing your dad...that just sucks so hard.
*love and blessings to you both*

I will, thank you, love! He's handling it pretty well, considering--I think there's just so much stuff going on he hasn't really processed it yet. I feel like a bad person, but I am so dreading the funeral.

You are *not* a bad person. Funeral's suck. So glad we didn't have one for my dad. He was cremated, and we just had a memorial like three weeks later, with food and friends. Much, much better.

All that laying out and viewing and crap....*shudders*. Horrible.

Cat's dad just died, too, as you probably remember, and it was the same - he and his brother and sister were so caught *up* in all the crap, they didn't really process anything until that day, and then they all just broke down.

But...it does feel good to cry and laugh and *grieve*. It's a good, cleansing thing.

*smishes*
*luffs muchly*

You're his rock right now, you know. You can do it.

I keep thinking of Cat and wondering how he's doing. This is such a heavy thing, and folks seem to expect a person to get over it quickly. But it hangs on and on, kind of jumping out at you when you least expect it.

So, hugs to you, double hugs to him and *thank* you. ♥ ♥

That's the way it was when my mom died -- I had to rush home, and it took days for reality to sink in. My sympathies to Mr. Roxy and you and to all the family on your loss. It's a transition, when that generation moves on. <3

omgosh, yes. We're them now. No one left to pat us on the back and tell us to buck up, except each other.
