Oh good, than let me stop faking calm and say YESYES!!!YES! I loved that little interplay between Dean and Sam in the hospital. It meant a lot, I thought. :)
Whooooooooo! I loved what i saw of it. I was streaming and my stupid connect is so sucky sometimes i didn't see the first half with any coherency. So i have to dl and rewatch. But i was enjoying the hell out of what i saw. :)
It sucks, because I tuned in for the last ten minutes accidentally and the station was actually coming in okay today for me. It's usually about 50/50. But I didn't even know it was on tonight, so I wasn't looking for it :(
Maybe I'll be able to find it on youtube or something...
Oh, fandom was sweating morals and choice and dubious consent, and what an abusive monster Dean was and what a saint poor Sammykins was and possibly couldn't move on from Dean because he was suffering from fear of Dean because he was abusive to Sam his whole life...eh.
Okay, I might be exaggerating just a wee bit, and I'm not down on Sam, but he did shit stuff to Dean too, so I'd say they're about even. Besides, shit that makes other folks stand on their toes and clutch their pearls sometimes doesn't register with me at all for some reason.
I do vaguely remember being kinda pissed at Dean lately, but I've been pissed at Sam a few times, too, yeah. Dude, they always get over shit the other does to them. That's how this show works.
I'm waiting for the upload of the eppy to finish so I can post the links, sweetie, but, oh my gosh! That was amazing! Sam's speech to Dean has been long overdue, methinks. It looks like we're going old school this season and I can't wait! :)
Right? They don't even audition folks anymore, they just go into the back and call out names. "Yo, babe, suit up, this is your ep." Like, the SpN Players Lounge.
Mmmmm, I LOVED this episode, just loved it, on multiple levels, but the hospital conversation between Sam and Dean . . . that scene moved me like few recent ones. Welcome back, Show!

Yikes. S9 rears its ugly head again? Or did it never die out? When people began comparing Dean's actions to a rapist's, D: I bailed on every comm and journal where that was the main topic of conversation. Oh, fandom . . .
You know, I think that kind of talk might have died down, but I'm still so bitter about, so flabbergasted that folks took it there that I just might not ever get over it. I don't think that some people really got what they were implying. Sure, Sam's anger was justifiable, though Show did take it in some really odd kind of direction.
Season 10 tried to make up for that, but they'd written themselves a rather large pothole and never got out of it very gracefully. If Carver has a legacy Show-wise, it's bringing out these awkward, unattractive leaps from plot-point to plot point. I'm assuming he leads the team in this direction and they have none of the grace Eric's team did. He was generaous with logic bombs too, they were just prettier logic bombs. :)
I don't think that some people really got what they were implying.
Oh, man, this. SO much this. "Flabbergasted" was my reaction, too. At first I thought someone had merely made a very bad joke, but then more and more people picked up on it, and when they began seriously discussing Dean's new "status" . . . I had to back away. (Wish I'd known you during S9! It sure would've been nice to hear another voice of reason crying out in the wilderness.)
