Show, Show, Show. I am very happy. You did things tonight that made me very, very happy. I have quibbles--feelings that I wonder if other people are feeling, but on the whole, there were really good things tonight. Sam--*Jared*--my word, you are knocking it out of the park each ep. And I don't think this is spoilery if I say that I was much, much more pleased with Misha this ep than last week's. Good job, son.

I can't wait to see what folks have to say as the week goes by. I miss very much the scads of post show reviews that there used to be. *sad face* But, ten years of excitement and enthusiasm is probably too much to ask for. So, I'll have to be enthusiastic all by myself. ;D

I enjoyed it very much too. My only quibble with the show and this a date back kind of thing- is the Purgatory story line, in my head Sam thought Dean was dead, I've written fan fic ect along this line of thinking so last week opening that old wound was hard but I do like where the writer this week took it. I can live with it as it stands. Otherwise- this was perfect. :)

I'm sure that Sam thought Dean was dead--that's the only way he would have gone on. He also realized (at that time, in that moment) that doing what they'd always done, tearing up heaven and earth to bring each other back only brought more sorrow and more pain. It was a personal growth kind of thing, and my feeling about it is that the only thing Sam did wrong was not explain it so Dean would get it. Granted, Dean's kind of an asshole and doesn't listen all that well. Still, I'm so glad that they addressed it, because it bothered Dean and it bothered Sam because it bothered Dean. And maybe Dean truly does forgive him, because he did things that were worse.

I like that they're letting them be brothers again, finally! I'm more than happy to have all conflict come from outside, and for them to be a solid front, you know?

WHAT! Hits rewind... I missed that. I was too busy looking at Sam's dear face!
Loved this episode and yes, Misha wasn't as 'hammy' as he was in the last episode. I was all set to cringe when he came on screen and didn't need to. It was a great episode. Both boys were gorgeous to look at and I always love a good cougar chase. Dean is always so gentlemanly about it LOL

Gorgeous boys, solid monster of the week episode and nice plot. And I loved the end scene, Dean (Happy birthday you handsome boy) looked so haunted and forlorn and beautiful in the darkness as that lovely song play.

Yeeeesssss...it's delicious!

I see the boys getting along better, but I also see Dean being distant. I was afraid at first that we were seeing Jensen drifting away from the role, but tonight underscored for me how torn he is, how afraid he is, of what's going on between Amara and him.

He was wonderful with Dee Wallace, who I think looked pretty damn good, I should look so good! It was sweet, and I loved that she made him sit and watch a sunset. :)

I just finished watching a few minutes ago and now am going throught he flist.

I loved it. Lots of really terrific moments and scenes and the MotW. A solid, solid episode and fantastic performances by the boys!

Nice, well-written episode and the guest stars were lovely! I liked that Dee Wallace wasn't at all mocked for being an older lady (teasingly) crushing on Dean.

Right? I felt like that was a shout-out to all the old ladies like me, thinking Dean is more beautiful than the sun. ;D I loved the way Sam smiled at her, like he really enjoyed her attitude.

This was the second show I saw in two days on my DVR where two men discuss a Golden Girls crush. Could this be because of the Deadpool movie? Deadpool has a well-documented thing for Bea Arthur.

Really? I don't know about the Deadpool thing because I don't know anything about the character. The Golden Girls ref didn't strike me as odd because I'm *surrounded* by people who for some reason love the Golden Girls--like, baby people! Now *that's* weird. :D

Though Bea Arthur was kinda hot....
