I have this story I wanted to post, but I when I read over it, I thought it sounded very familiar and I'm not sure now if I may have lifted bits from someone without realizing it. What would ya'll do in a situation like this? I'm not going to post it because I'm really uncomfortable with it, but I'm just curious, has this happened to anyone else?

Any sort of 'lifting' you might have done was purely accidental, i'm sure, so don't sweat it too much.

3/7/05 06:54 pm (UTC)It can be scary, but at the same time, I do think it's bound to happen a lot when in fanfic. The characters are the same, and it's all branching off from the same show, so it's inevitable that there will be a lot of overlap.
But at any rate, I hope you're able to get it all sorted out.:-)
