I have this story I wanted to post, but I when I read over it, I thought it sounded very familiar and I'm not sure now if I may have lifted bits from someone without realizing it. What would ya'll do in a situation like this? I'm not going to post it because I'm really uncomfortable with it, but I'm just curious, has this happened to anyone else?

I once found that I had used sort of a lot more of the plot, etc., of a comic book than I had originally thought I was going to. I ended up just citing it -- you know, giving the title and authors and stuff, and saying that I had taken a lot of stuff from it.

There's a way to do--I think I might be being a bit paranoid- I just don't want to offend anyone, you know?
