Yeah, I was looking for the finished version to ask for a beta and--gone! I don't have it! I have a couple unfinished ones, but the finished version is gone. I have it in Memories, but still...erf. Upsetting.
so did you found it again??? did you lost the online version or offline on harddrive, because offline , then a desktop search/index tool like from copernic really helps.
and for the fic, I have recced it, too!!!!! great reactions, but the fans there are all new to LJ (I am in the process of dragging them all over LJ) so I will go for a minute, and copy & paste the feedback to you here.
The Fire Bird and the Grey Wolf is another one I've read more than once and found new things to like about it each time. It's AU but brilliant TC and Lex and Clark are both nearly totally awful with hardly a redeeming characteristic between the two of them. It's set in Tzarist Russia at the turn of the last Century before the commies take over... Extremely violent and graphic TC, not for the faint of heart.
I think Firebird and Gray Wolf is a great read, but it is very alternate universe so the characters are very out of character, but there are glimpses of Clark that could have been, if the monster that "raised" him hadn't found his ship...
I read The Fire Bird and the Grey Wolf last night and I must thank you for the recommendation. It was a phenomenol read! The TC was superb and yes, violent, but it didn't bother me in the least. I was enthralled. LOVED every bit of it!! I only wish she would repost the entire story under one link. The multiple link business was irritating. Thanks much much!! Please, recommend more from Live Journal if you have any. That's one place I haven't read a thing.
Wow. Wow, that's--that's really heartening. It feels so good to know that people like that story. Thank you so much for that, it makes me so happy.*hug*
I have not post them earlier , coz I was sure you got those reactions all the time when posting the chaps! If I just had no RL; I would recruit new fans for the clex love all the time, you authors deserve all that feedback sooooooooo much, i always feel like I never give back enough...if I should ever be millionaire, I would pay you all for the writing, and not caring about petty things like RL!!!!!
No no--it's got to be here somewhere, and I have it in my memories, if I could get to the damn thing. Crap. I know I should have done this a while ago. Laziness is the devil!
Thanks, beloved, I'll find it, i'm sure. it's got to be somewhere in here. *shakes monitor, bemoans dinosaur-like lack of knowledge* Are there pretty boys in Empire? Do they get all shiny-like? is there touching?

But now I finally succeeded (I had to run off to a damn tekki place to ask about all that crap) have watched the first 3 parts, and happy dl the fourth right now!!!!!!
